1. Who we are

This policy explains how KismatAstro ("we", "us"), operated by [Company Name], [Registered Address], India, handles your personal data when you use kismatastro.com. Questions? Write to support@kismatastro.com.

2. What we collect

• Details you enter in a tool: Names, dates of birth, times and places of birth, and phone or vehicle numbers are used to calculate your result. Calculators run without an account, and you can use most tools without giving an email.
• Account details: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.
• Purchase details: What you bought, the amount and its status. We do not see or store your UPI PIN, card number or bank credentials; payments run through our payment partner.
• Usage data: Pages visited and basic device information help us keep the site working and improve it.

3. What we use it for

To calculate and deliver your results and reports; to run your account and purchases; to send service messages (receipts, delivery) and, only with your consent, occasional updates you can opt out of at any time; to keep the Site secure; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Birth details and sensitive data

Birth date, time and place are needed for astrology tools. We use them only for the reading you asked for and for calculations you request, we do not use them for advertising, and we delete or anonymise guest entries on a rolling basis. If you create a birth profile in your account, you can delete it yourself at any time, and deleting your account deletes its profiles.

5. Payment partners and service providers

We share only what is necessary with: our payment partner (to process payments), our hosting and data providers (to run the Site), and the astrology data service used to compute charts (which receives birth details needed for your calculation). They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

6. Sign-in with Google

If you sign in with Google, Google handles the authentication and tells us your name, email address and profile picture. We use this only to create and run your account. Google's own privacy policy applies to Google's processing; we never post anything to your Google account.

7. How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a short period afterwards. Purchase records are kept as required by Indian tax law (currently eight years). Guest calculator inputs are deleted or anonymised on a rolling basis. Chat transcripts from paid sessions are kept for dispute resolution and then deleted.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with industry-standard protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the data we hold.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to: give you a copy of your personal data; correct it; delete it; or stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to support@kismatastro.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke access from your Google account security settings.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies (to keep you signed in and your cart working) and simple analytics to understand which pages are used. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, though sign-in may not.

11. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Free calculators do not require any personal identifier beyond the details typed in for a calculation.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
