MARRIAGE AND VIVAH MUHURAT
November 2026 vivah muhurat: all shubh dates with tithi and nakshatra
By KismatAstro editorial desk · Published 28 September 2026 · Updated 28 September 2026
November 2026 has four vivah muhurat dates in New Delhi, all after Dev Uthani Ekadashi on 20 November: Saturday 21, Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26. Windows, nakshatra and tithi below are from Drik Panchang (New Delhi), checked on 28 September 2026. There is no wedding muhurat earlier in November.
This guide sits with the vivah muhurat 2026 hub. Use the kundli matching when you want the calculator rather than the essay.
Why November 2026 starts so late
Hindu weddings traditionally pause for Chaturmas, the four months from Devshayani Ekadashi to Dev Uthani Ekadashi, when Vishnu is said to rest. 2026 has an extra lunar month, Adhik Maas, so that opening day falls later than families remember from other years. Drik Panchang (New Delhi) names Dev Uthani Ekadashi as 20 November 2026. The first Delhi wedding window on the same list is the next day.
KismatAstro's own Lahiri ephemeris agrees on the date and adds a clock detail the sunrise panchang alone can hide. At Delhi sunrise on 20 November, about 6:47 am, the tithi is still Shukla Dashami. Shukla Ekadashi begins later that morning, around 7:17 am IST. The panchang for that date will therefore show Dashami if you sample at sunrise. The vrata day is still 20 November, because that is when Ekadashi arrives. Tulsi Vivah, which many homes treat as the season's first ceremony, is the day after, 21 November.
Nothing in the first three weeks of November is missing from the table by accident. Those days are inside the pause. If a venue is pushing a date before the 20th, it is a venue date, not a vivah muhurat on this panchang. You can still marry then if your family does not observe Chaturmas. Just do not call it a shubh date from this list.

Saturday 21 November runs from 6:48 am to 12:08 am just after midnight, with the Moon in Revati and tithi Dwadashi. On our engine the Moon enters Revati a few minutes after Delhi sunrise, around 6:51 am, which is why the wedding window and the star Revati belong together that day. It is also Tulsi Vivah. Families who want the first date of the season, and a Saturday, usually start here. The night end suits a late baraat.
Tuesday 24 November is a night window, 11:25 pm to 6:52 am, Moon in Rohini, tithi Pratipada. Rohini is one of the classical marriage nakshatras, which is why the date is on the list. Tuesday is the reason some elders will still say no. Mangal's weekday is an extra filter, not part of the Drik row itself. If the family keeps that filter, skip to the 25th rather than arguing that the panchang has made a mistake.
Wednesday 25 November is the long one: 6:52 am through to 6:52 am the next morning, a full panchang day. The row shows Rohini and Mrigashira, and Pratipada moving into Dwitiya. A full-day window is the easiest date on this list for a ceremony that might slip. Thursday 26 November then runs 6:52 am to 5:47 pm, Mrigashira, Dwitiya into Tritiya. It ends before evening, so a night phera does not fit inside the listed window.
How to choose among the four
- Cross out any date the venue or a parent's travel cannot meet. A shubh day you cannot attend is not a plan.
- If Tuesdays are avoided at home, drop 24 November and say why, so nobody rediscovers it in a group chat.
- Match the couple before you block the hall. Kundli matching needs both birth times. Matching by name is the honest fallback when a time was never written down.
- Take two remaining dates to the purohit. The list gives the day's window. The lagna for your city and your hall is a second step, using both nakshatras.
A muhurat does not cancel Nadi or Bhakoot, and a high guna score does not move a date into Chaturmas. Keep the jobs separate. The marriage hub collects the matching tools and the dosha guides. The December list is the rest of this season, seven more dates, ending on 12 December before Kharmas.
Nakshatra and tithi, without the fog
The marriage nakshatras on this list are Revati, Rohini and Mrigashira. They are not the only stars a wedding can use across a year. Magha, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Mula, Uttara Ashadha and Uttara Bhadrapada appear in other months. What you want in November is the star named on the row, during the hours named on the row. A nakshatra that begins after the window closes does not belong to that muhurat.
Tithi is the Moon's distance from the Sun. Windows often start or end as the tithi changes, which is why 25 and 26 November each show two names. Rikta tithis (Chaturthi, Navami, Chaturdashi) and Amavasya are the ones this tradition steps around. You do not need to memorise the fifteen names to use the table. You need to stay inside the clock times, in the right city.
Delhi times are not Mumbai times and not Dubai times. The UAE table on the 2026 muhurat page moves these same days, and one Dubai window begins before dawn on the 21st rather than at Delhi's 6:48 am. If the wedding is in the Gulf, print that table. If it is in another Indian city, ask the purohit to shift the window. Do not subtract one hour thirty and hope.
What to carry to the purohit
Take the two shortlisted dates, both birth details if you have them, and the city of the venue, which is not always the city on the invitation. Ask three questions only. Which lagna inside the listed window fits both nakshatras? Does either chart make Tuesday 24 November a poor fit even though Rohini is excellent? If the ceremony slips by an hour, are we still inside the window or have we walked into the next tithi on purpose? Write the answers down. A WhatsApp voice note from a cousin is how a 6:48 am start becomes a noon start that nobody checked.
Guests need a different piece of paper from the one the purohit needs. They need when to arrive, where to sit, and whether the pheras are after dark. The panchang does not know your caterer. If 21 November is both Tulsi Vivah at home and a baraat in a hall across the city, split the day in writing. Morning puja, afternoon rest, evening inside the window that runs until just after midnight. The Tulsi Vivah guide is the courtyard half. This table is the hall half. They can share a date without sharing a timetable.
What this list will not do
It will not tell you whether the two of you should marry. That is the charts, and then it is the two of you. It will not name a lucky hour inside the window for a video call, a court registration, or a ring. Those are different questions, and inventing a minute for them would be fake precision. It will not promise a peaceful marriage because the Moon was in Rohini.
Confirm the final lagna with the person who will conduct the wedding. Dates were checked against Drik Panchang (New Delhi and Dubai) on 28 September 2026. The Ekadashi and Revati clock times mentioned above are KismatAstro's Lahiri ephemeris, labelled as such, and they are there so the sunrise panchang and the festival name can sit in the same paragraph without pretending to be the same sample.
Questions on this page
How many vivah muhurat dates are in November 2026?
Four, on Drik Panchang for New Delhi: 21, 24, 25 and 26 November 2026. All of them sit after Dev Uthani Ekadashi on 20 November. Earlier November dates are inside Chaturmas, so they are not on the wedding list.
Is 24 November 2026 a good wedding date?
Drik Panchang lists it, with a night window and the Moon in Rohini. It falls on a Tuesday, and some stricter family lists leave Tuesdays out. If your elders follow that extra rule, use 21, 25 or 26 November instead and say so openly.
Do we still need kundli matching if the date is shubh?
Yes, if your family matches charts. The muhurat chooses a day. Guna milan looks at the couple. They answer different questions. A free match by birth details, or by name when the time is missing, sits beside this list rather than instead of it.
Are November 2026 timings the same in Dubai?
No. Sunrise differs, and the UAE clock is one hour thirty minutes behind India, so windows move. Drik Panchang's Dubai list even starts a window before dawn on 21 November. Use the Dubai table on the 2026 muhurat page for a UAE wedding, not the Delhi clock times.
